What is SALT + EARTH?

SALT + EARTH is a line of magnesium based products formulated by our founder, Bec (Dr. Rebecca Farthing- Osteopath & Naturopath). Bec was making these products in her clinic for patients that came to see her. Patients began raving about the magnesium products so when COVID hit, Bec turned her energy to branding her magnesium range and getting it out there!

Where is SALT + EARTH made?

All of our products are made in Melbourne, Australia! Bec has developed a production line which allows her to personally oversee the quality of the product being produced. 

Does SALT + EARTH test on animals?

Heck no! All of our products are tied and tested for months before they are released. No animals involved- only Bec's kids :)

Does SALT + EARTH use natural ingredients?

Absolutely! We endeavour to source local, Australian ingredients where possible. We use natural ingredients to reduce chemicals, parabens and nasties. 

Can SALT + EARTH products be used on my kids?

Yep! They can! Bec formulated these products to be safe for everyone- from bubbas through to nannas. Everyone

Can I use SALT + EARTH products while I am pregnant?

Yes you can :) SALT + EARTH products contain natural ingredients that are safe in pregnancy. We recommend the Recover Magnesium as this does not contain any essential oils and was developed with our pregnant mumms in mind. 

What fragrances do you use in your SALT + EARTH products?

SALT + EARTH uses 100% pure essential oils sources in Australia. 

How often do I use my SALT + EARTH products?

As often as you like! We find people like to use them daily, if not twice a day for the best results. 

What is the shelf life of SALT + EARTH's products?

All SALT + EARTH products have a shelf life of 12 months after being opened and 24 months is still sealed. Keeping these products in a cooler area ensure a longer shelf life.

How much does shipping cost?

All orders of 3+ products receive free standard shipping Australia wide. You will receive your unique tracking code where you can see where your package is. Standard Shipping lead time is 2-4 business days from the date your order has been shipped. 

We offer FREE International DHL Express Shipping for all orders over $99. For all orders under $99, we charge a flat fee of $19. The shipping time frame for international orders is 2-5 business days with full tracking available (business. days do not include public holidays and weekends). This does not include processing delays by the shipping carrier which unfortunately is out of our control! 

** Please note that since COVID-19, shipping times and delays can occur. We endeavour to get your goods to you ASAP and work hard on using the fastest and most reliable provider for you. 

Do you ship Express?

We offer express shipping within Australia for a flat fee of $15. You will receive your unique tracking code where you can see where you parcel is. 

For international orders, express shipping is applies to all purchases. 

Who do you use for shipping?

We are constantly reevaluating our shipping carriers. Since COVID-19, shipping delays are common and we endeavour to source the quickest and most reliable shipping partner. 

We currently use Sendle, Australia Post and DHL. 

What countries do you ship to?

SALT + EARTH ships everywhere!!! Australia to America to New Zealand to Europe and the United Kingdom and beyond! 

How long does shipping take?

This is very dependant on your location. 

All Australian orders should be shipping and received in 4-8 days. 

All international orders take approximately 7-10 days to be delivered. 

***Shipping times may vary depending on the shipping partner. Unfortunately these are out of our control but we do constantly review their delivery times and choose the fastest and the most reliable service for you. 

What happens if my package gets lost in the post?

How do I track my order?

As part of your order, you will receive your unique tracking code from us in an email. This will be sent to the email you used at checkout. If you have not received this information, please reach out to us at and we will get the details for you.

SALT + EARTH is not responsible for any stolen packages or delays in transit. 

Shipping cost for order is not refundable.

Which payment methods are accepted?

SALT + EARTH accepts credit card, PayPal, ShopPay, GPay and AfterPay. Plenty of options for you!

What is ShopPay?

ShopPay is a payment gateway that allows you to accept credit card payments on your shop. It is a secure and easy to use gateway that supports all major credit cards. It offers accelerated checkout and Shop Pay Installments.

What is AfterPay?

AfterPay is a digital payment platform offered to online shoppers that allows them to delay payments on purchases. Users can make weekly payments on items purchased until they are paid in full. No interest is charged

What is GPay?

Google Pay is a payment gateway supplied by google allowing you to use your google wallet to pay for your products. 

Can I use AfterPay?

Conditions of AfterPay to use there services includes being 18 years of age or older, and be the authorized holder of an eligible debit or credit card. Purchases need to be over $35. You are required to pay an initial 25% of total cost up front before your scheduled payments commence. 

How does it AfterPay work?

Afterpay is a buy now, pay later lender that divides your total purchase amount into four biweekly payments. SALT + EARTH acceots AfterPay where you can order your products online after paying an initial 25% of the total price.

Does it cost more to use AfterPay?

Afterpay is a free service when you pay on time - there are no upfront fees charged or any interest incurred

Refunds & Returns

SALT + EARTH does not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind. 

If your Product is faulty or not substantially as described we will take all reasonable steps to either replace or refund the item.

For all returns and refunds, you are responsible for the shipping costs of all returned Products. We accept no liability for lost deliveries. We recommend you send your product with tracking to ensure the package is delivered to us. 

Incorrect or Faulty Product

If you have received incorrect, damaged or faulty items, please provide details (including photos) within 7 days of purchase. We will be able to then verify whether you are entitled to a replacement with new products and provide instructions accordingly.
